What’s happening with AUTO-TWIN’s profiler tools?

ERRE QUADRO is continuing to actively collaborate with the project partner SYXIS for the development of the final version of the two tools envisaged by the project, the Production Profiler and the Worker Profiler.

Get to know the profile tools:

  • The Worker Profiler is a tool designed to assess the skill gaps of workers in relation to the technological skill needs driven by the AI revolution, as well as international competence standards for their professional roles (i.e., what they should do and want to do). Additionally, it considers the workers' ambitions (i.e., what they wish to be). The tool enables a comprehensive skills gap assessment for individual workers. It provides a list of archetypes and allows users to identify each worker's specific skill levels and the activities required to bridge the gap between their current status and the expected level of the archetypes.

  • The Production Profiler tool is designed to evaluate the technological gap between a firm's current production system and its desired production system archetype. The tool utilizes a database of production archetypes that are based on state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 models. By mapping the firm's production systems through a series of surveys, the tool identifies the key technologies and the most relevant job profiles and skills that the firm needs to acquire to align with the selected archetype.

The Production Profiler serves as the counterpart to the Worker Profiler.

The beta version of the two tools will be presented to the partnership during the General Assembly that will take place in Pisa on 24 & 25th of June 2024 with the aim of gathering suggestions from other project partners.

In the subsequent period, ERRE QUADRO & SYXIS will collect the feedback received and focus on refining the software, implementing significant improvements based on the feedback received and the results of the initial testing phases. The main objective is to achieve an advanced version of the software that will be presented at the project’s next interim review. Following this, the advanced version will undergo further rigorous testing through the project pilots, ensuring that every feature is thoroughly evaluated and optimized to meet the needs of the end users.
