Roundtable discussion in LaserEMobility Workshop 2023 Milan
On 14 March 2023 during the LaserEMobility Workshop 2023 at Politecnico di Milano Mr. Gerhard Hautmann, COO of Libattion participated to the roundtable discussion entitled "Electric mobility of the next decade – Challenges and Opportunities".
LaserEMobility Workshop is an event aimed to generate a meeting point for the industry and the academia working in laser-based manufacturing for the electric vehicle production.
In the roundtable discussion, Mr. Hautmann joined a team of expert panelists with Prof. Gianpiero Mastinu from Politecnico di Milano who is also Lombardy Mobility Cluster Secretary General, Aldo D'Ambrosio from Comau, and Davide Ferrario from Streparava. The roundtable discussion illustrated to the expert audience in advanced manufacturing, the socio-economic challenges, as well as technological changes expected during the change towards electrification.
Mr. Hautmann contributed with a vision towards the role of upcycling to tackle the battery demand and the issues concerning end of life of these components. The event was followed by more than 200 participants coming from different parts of the world between 13 and 14 March in Milan.
